Floor plans / Material selections (interior and exterior)
When you love where you live, starting fresh doesn’t have to mean starting over. For this family, building a new home on their existing acreage allowed them to stay rooted while creating a space that better served their daily life. Though the home’s final placement wasn’t what they originally envisioned, we shifted the orientation to take full advantage of the sunrise. An open floor plan and an east-facing deck invite them to begin each day with beauty and light. Thoughtfully chosen materials—timeless and true to the modern farmhouse style—reflect the authenticity of life on a working farm.
We all need to do laundry. Why not make the effort to make these ordinary spaces a little more enjoyable? The brass pulls and pretty green cabinets elevate their everyday.
This tile installation method is a timeless classic and creates an interesting texture in some of this home's most used heavily used rooms, like the mudroom and laundry room.
Designed for calm, not clutter—this minimalist bed styling captures that perfectly. Thoughtful editing creates restfulness. This sense of “taking your time” isn’t just said, it's felt through intentional choices.
"We really appreciated all of the help Michele gave as we went through the process of building a new house. Our top priority was getting the floorplan “right”, and she helped us accomplish that. It was reassuring knowing that she was available as the project progressed to answer any question that came up or decisions to be made that we weren’t sure about. We were very happy with Michele’s open communication, detail orientation, and she was enjoyable to work with."
