This timeless new build was a true ground-up collaboration, beginning even before the foundation was poured. The clients reached out while relocating to the area, seeking guidance on both a building site and contractor selection. With a vision for a warm, welcoming home inspired by the charm of older architecture, they wanted generous spaces for gathering and a classic interior that would never feel dated.
From early remote design work to hands-on collaboration as they settled nearby, every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the custom fireplace surround to the tailored millwork and cabinetry. The result is a beautifully livable home, intentionally crafted to support connection, comfort, and everyday elegance.
Designed for Gathering & Grace
In this space, the fireplace remains the timeless focal point, while the television quietly recedes when not in use, doubling as framed art. Built-in cabinetry keeps essentials tucked away: remotes, board games, cozy blankets—all the little things that make gathering here feel easy and inviting.
Living Room
Beauty and function work hand in hand in this kitchen. The custom range hood conceals built-in spice racks, keeping cooking essentials close but out of sight. Nearby, pocket doors tuck away the pantry and drop zone—two hardworking spaces that stay hidden when not in use, allowing the kitchen to feel calm and uncluttered.
Kitchen
Designed with hosting and everyday ease in mind, this hardworking pantry includes a second refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave—freeing up the main kitchen for gathering and connection. Glass-front cabinetry turns serving pieces into decor, while a built-in appliance garage keeps less-used items tucked away but close at hand.
